Welcome to the 2018-2019 edition of Mediascape. 

This issue engages with the concept of digital and new media. Our authors in this issue explore both the realities and perceptions of what new media is or rather has become. As daily active participants of digital culture we are at once familiar and unfamiliar with its repercussions, and our authors grapple with these questions very much at the heart of new media studies. How do we live with digital media? How do we create with it? And what is the tangible impact on society? It has always been so at Mediascape, where we remain dedicated to exploring the vast expanse of cinema and media.
